Pleasant lodge with log fire which we shared with friends. Dinner and breakfast very nice. Great place for family break.

... the beach. We had to get our "beach fill" before heading to the rainforest.
Which is where we are now - Mount Tamborine. Of course we had to have another driving "adventure" on our way here. Lights: Surprised and delighted to see the lights installed on the outside of the van. There is a movement light next to the door, which we knew about. The big surprise was the two LED lights one on each side of the vehicle. When we looked surprised particularly at the one of the drivers side Chris smiled his knowing smile ...

The boys were leaving today to head down to Byron for a few days but said they are up for showing me about Surfer's Paradise so said we would meet up. Popped out to get a phone and sim and then just wandered about town for a bit. Went back to the pool where I had a chat with some new people. A guy told me Anchorman 2 was being shown a day early down the road. I told Fiona, had a quick shower and headed up. Awesome film but ...
