Pleasant lodge with log fire which we shared with friends. Dinner and breakfast very nice. Great place for family break.

From Halls Gap in Victoria, we flew back to Western Australia and then drove several hours to Pemberton. (we like Pemberton....stayed in a lovely cottage with a backyard...it even had a bath. That excited me!) Doug and Kevin collected and I went on the Donnelly River Cruise. It was pretty interesting how this river opens up into the ocean on a secluded beach. I wouldn't want to get stranded there. After two days, we drove into Perth ...

Ivan is an awesome Russian guy met on campus by Tyler and Ashley. Working as a science assistant, he is a rather interesting character who loves God. Studying with this guy was great - seeing as he was super keen to keep the studies moving at a fast pace, whilst making sure to be clear in every aspect of scripture. He is moving to Athens, Georgia To pursue a PhD in chemistry. It's truly amazing how God works things out and who God puts in our lives. -Phil ...

We ended our day there with a ride on the monorail back to the front of the park. We did note that the seagulls in Australia are just as obnoxious as the seagulls in California.
Sea World is located on a landmass called The Spit, consisting mostly of parklands. Once we left Sea World, we drove down ...

Monday morning Erin and I were looking for something to do or explore, especially if the weather was going to be so-so and we wouldn't be able to stay long at the beach. The theme parks were out as neither one of us wanted to spend money on Sea World or go to the waterpark (I think it's fair to say I've had enough for a lifetime). One of our friends from our trip the night before recommended to us we hit up Mount Tamborine, a scenic little rainforest village on a mountain. They had ...
