... Monument_t o_Vittorio_Emanuele_II). It is a stunning marble building with statues along the front and on the roof. I named it 'The Spectacular Building' :P That night, we went to the Trevi Fountain, which was packed with people! I read that over 3000 euros are thrown in a day! ... head-phones.  We opted not to hop on or off and just stay through the 10 stops.  A great experience for those of us that had already been there and even more so for Neil the novice to Rome.   At the end, the Trevi Fountain stop we got off and looked for a place to eat lunch.   We found the "Sacre & Profano"".   Very cool, this restaurant was once a church and is mentioned in a document dated 1199 as "St. Joannes De Ficoccia".    You can still see the original frescoes ...

... as well as a group of French sailors. There was a night bus stop just near there, so we got that back to the station There was a kebab stand open on the way back to the hostel so Eddy got one of those and I had a bite.

We got back to the hostel and fell straight to sleep.

Rome was amazing and we saw so many really interesting things when we were there. Despite having to risk our lives everytime we crossed a road, we managed to survive the crazy drivers and have a fantastic ...
