History filled San Ingancio
... was just a precautionary step to make sure that we were safe.
Arriving at Caracol we had a guided tour of the site. The grand scale of the pyramids in the main square of the site was just impressive. They stood well over 50m in height. We were able to climb right to the top pyramid which gave us a greater appreciation of how big they actually are a long with panoramic views of the site and the surrounding areas.
