We arrived in Como after a long drive from Bassano via Verona and the Hertz office to replace, yet again, the GPS. The Neverlost might be the case on the odd occasion that it works, but without it getting lost is actually quite simple. Anyway, we found the office and a very kind man who quickly replaced the unit and we were on our way. Verona had been recommended to us as a place to visit - not sure why. ... our Christmas list to Santa Claus grows smaller as our wish for family and quality time with friends grows larger. The longing for family has grown a huge amount since last year as I have moved half way across the world.. As much as my host family has made me feel at home and a true member of the family, nothing compares to the relationship you have with a true family member. With every Christmas that passes by, we ...

THE WEEKEND WITH MY SISTER - inc. other fun faces

A travel blog entry by joephilpotts on Mar 08, 2014

... the saddest part was to see my sister leave. It was hard to keep the lump in my throat down so I wouldn't cry. Just makes me realised how much I care for my sister and how strong-hearted she is. I wouldnt change her for the world. It is amazing how time can just fly by especially in those short few days and it made me realise how fast this tour is going - absolutely mental I say!! A presto to Lucy and ...
