    ... golden arches. That's right - like a true product of seeing marketing all my life, I saw the McDonald's M and knew immediately that I wanted some french fries. We did it. Josh McGirk - you called this one. I can't honestly remember the last time that I ate McDonalds in the states, but the smell and salty deliciousness of those french fries was exactly what I needed.

    ... village is, well, a village. Much like the others we have seen but actually quite flat - a rarity in these areas. The reindeer and wild boar here for the tourists was quite interesting. Just the two of us on the way down. We find the girls and the funeral has finally finished, but they did have to overstay their time in the carpark while waiting for the hearse to move. Back home via the car ferry and Bellagio again where we enjoy a dinner of cheese, salami, bread, olives etc. and ...

    Peter’s knee was playing up and I certainly wasn’t keen walking back the way we came in fear of slipping and causing some major injuries to us both!
