They invited us to go to drink tea with them, and we walked along with them, but when they took us to an unmarked teahouse in a side street Paul said to me "It's a scam", and I agreed, so we made our excuses and left. Looking back it was obvious. They were keen to keep us talking, but didn't show any real interest in us. Their conversation was pretty random and their stories didn't add up.

... The pot had a spicy side and a mild side and both were unbelievably delicious. We took turns dumping trays of thin strips of lamb and beef, shrimp, crab, fish, robins eggs, lettuce, cabbage, white carrots, potatoes and breads into the pot as we fished through the cloudy water with chopsticks for bits of anything cooked.
