We woke up in beautiful surroundings at Kodachrome Basin State Park. We had until the afternoon to check out, so we took a snack and headed out for a 3 mile hike through the Park to a viewpoint overlooking the surrounding area.

Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, UT
Drive to Bryce Canyon from Vegas. (3-1/2 hrs). Arrived 4ish. Had time to walk around the rim a bit. Beautiful! Had late dinner in lodge & to bed. 5/13 - Wanted to get up for sunrise but didn't turn on alarm clock correctly (forgot about 1 hr time diff). Oh well.
