    Schitterende lokatie

Alles is netjes schoon.

Day Twelve -- Torrey to Bryce

This day was a combination of annoying misdirection and amazing beauty. We left Torrey early enough to make a stop to hike to a waterfall recommended to me on TA, but stupidly relied on the GPS to choose our route to Bryce Canyon National Park. I should have known it wouldn't take us the scenic route and by …

As arranged met Clint at 4:30am and he drove us out for our private photography tour. It was money well spent as Clint knew all the good places for shots and gave us a few tips. At 4:30am, it was still a fair time away from sunrise but I managed to get some good night shots but not perfect because I had misplaced my shutter release. The three and a …

What a magical setting! Bryce is like no other place on Earth! I'll let the photos speak for themselves. We again used a free shuttle service to take us into the park. At the end of the line we got off the bus and followed the Rim Trail along what is known as the Bryce Amphitheater. Incredible views all along the 2 mile route. We then got back on …

After we couldn't work any more slot canyon tours yesterday due to the weather, "Charly" at Overland Tours wanted us to come back at 11:30am today. But we decided that we'd prefer to continue as planned up to Bryce National Park. So after another good breakfast (omelet) by Bubba and more sharing about his experiences as a river guide and Deb-b's …
