Sams: Mumbai to Goa had to be thee worst train trip for me, out of all the trains we have been on so far and that's saying a lot. Leaving Mumbai at 11pm and getting onto a night train isn't anything out of the ordinary for us. Our 2nd class a/c compartments are typically comfortable enough. This trip however, not so great. Woke early this morning & took in the peace & quite. Read a book for an hour before we went for breakfast.
Had an American breakfast & once again to much to eat.

... the beach in the 'Reggae Shack' which only really played reggae after all the old people had gone home and we requested it. The cheap and deadly cocktails got Izzy quite a bit tipsy and a few large beers later Nat was feeling the same and we had fun trying to find our way off the beach as there's a fence along most of if with only a small gap in it, and no torch. We got back to a freezing cold room due to the air con and ended up sleeping with it off and the standard fan on ...

... br> I will probably being staying here until the New Year as travel and accommodation is a nightmare being that it is the holiday season. So I guess it is another few weeks or so of beach, eating and generally do sweet bugger all. If I dont get back on line before than I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a great 2013.

Delhi to Goa uncovering India!

... nearby mountain and watch the sunrise at Saraswah Temple, it was tough climbing with so many steps but very worth it! The hotel in Pushka was so cold! With no central heating or plug in heaters we relied on lots of extra blankets to keep warm (ish).
