Getting to the Angel Falls is a mission. I took a bus from our previous base, Santa Elena, which took 14 hours. Next stop Cuidad Bolivar where we stayed one night before departing for 2 night 3 day excursion of Angel Falls.<br><br>We went to the local airport predicting (or in Eugene´s case fearing) what type of plane we would be flying to the falls on. ... they came running towards us. They were our pilots!! They were taking us to the airport to get on a plane without any pilots?? Everyone laughed, even the pilots! 2 pilots running to get on the jeep to go to the planes they are about to fly?! Only in south américa. Possibly the funniest thing we have ever seen. Flight back to Ciudad Bolívar was a bit sad. Sad that the best 3 days o four trip so far are over. Brazil hás a lot to live up to after stunning Venezuela!!
