... notices and quickly reassures us that while it is similar to a wedding we would have to walk seven times around the firepit for it to be official. Phew. That was close.

In the afternoon we enter the Park again, this time in a jeep. The driver and lady park ranger, with her loaded rifle sticking out the window, ride in the cabin up front. James, Sanjay (who smoothly accompanies us everywhere) and I stand on the seats in the open back area, with James and I trying to stay ...

In yet another plan-changing event, we would now be going to a tea estate near Tezpur. The driver arranged for us seemed to be pretty shady, but it got worse when we saw that he was surrounded by a similar-looking gang. We found out that the guy was actually not our driver, but that ours was [luckily] a very decent guy (who wasn't present originally).
