... s really tropical. I enjoyed it here a lot, although I think the beaches could be better in other islands in Philippines. The dinner room in the hotel was very nice. It's about 50 M from the ocean, but there is no trees in the way of the ocean. There are lights that light up the room and everything is pretty clear. It's quiet until the chickens come out. It's a shame my time here was so short, but not much you can do about that.

... sprinkles starting around 6 in the evening I think. They also have lots of different kinds of mangoes in store! I fancy the "manga senorita" which are cute in size but very sweet and cheap. For souvenirs and pasalubongs, we also went shopping for malong, bottled sardines, t-shirts, batik handkerchiefs and other delicacies.

Since Dipolog and Dapitan are just neighbors, of course, we also did not missed visiting Dapitan City and lots of its tourist attractions.

... people have struggled tirelessly for their independence as a tribe, their rights to cultural integrity and the right to self-determination. the Higaonon, have managed to maintain the skills and knowledge that will protect its forested mountains. They need to secure their Ancestral Domain and forest home against destruction by loggers who started cutting their way into the forested homeland more than sixty years ago.
