... was annoyed! It sucked. They were jumping around, screaming, and they told Ian to "chill out" after he told them to nicely be quiet. Dinner made up for it though because it was one of my favorite meals so far. Minor was singing and playing guitar while we were eating our gourmet chocolate cake. Early in the day we came across a clearing where we could see out to Costa Rica's most famous volcano: Volcan Arenal. It was pretty damn spectacular. But little did we know, we were going to find an even more spectacular view later in the day. Around lunch time came back to the ranger station after finishing the longest trail in the ...

... the mountains in the cooler climate. Once we got settled we went to an amazing restaurant in town called The Treehouse. It was literally built around an incredibly old tree amongst its branches. As we sat in our little tree house we decided we better message Hanneke and Huib and tell them the bad but very funny news that they were now in fact carrying around someone else's lock. As we logged onto Facebook Hanneka happened to be online so we started chatting ...

... After lunch we took the shuttle over the bumpy roads back to the hotel for our almost daily nap. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the room and playing with our photos, the internet, etc. We had another nice dinner in the hotel restaurant....maybe we should be checking out more of the local restaurants, but the hotel is convenient and I am really enjoying actually ordering off the menu rather than ...
