... En die hebben we gevonden. Helemaal enthousiast toen stefan de eerste hippo spotte, en nog steeds helemaal enthousiast na de 700ste hippo. Wat een heerlijke grote logge duffe beesten. De volgende dag in Kovsie (voor de vergeetachtigen: onze auto) richting het natuurpark gereden, in de hoop meer hippo’s en nu ook kroks te zien. ... the queues of people (often in to the 100s) who have walked and waited to be seen. If the patients are elderly, their blood pressure is taken and if too high, a referral letter is sent to the hospital. If they require medication, they are given what they can. We went with them one week and helped to dispense the medicines (labelling it appropriately) and giving councelling and advice via a translator, which was very interesting.

... It wasnt the fact of the jump really it was more the climb up there which was intense. The stadium, if you look at the photos, has two arches that go right over the top from each side. On one side you can take a sort of cable car lift that goes up the arch or on the other saide you can walk up the infinity number of steps whilst secured with a safey cable and clip... which is what we had to do.... I think Tom got to the 9th step then turned a whitish colour and ran back down ...

... daar waren, heeft Mar adrenaline geproefd door van 216 meter hoogte aan een touwtje te bungelen! K Vanuit Bron doorgereden naar ons huisje, waar we wat van de natuur konden proeven.

Dag erna vroeg opgestaan, om terug te rijden naar George, waar ons vliegtuig naar Durban vertrok. De dames zijn met de auto terug naar Johannesburg gereden, wij genieten lekker van drankjes en cocktails aan het zwembad of aan de zee. Zondag komen ze ons weer ophalen en ...
