... checked in without any major problems, we were supposed to board at 2:35 but they already started to call us by name at that time, pretty weird, anyway we left 30 min early in our little propeller plane and arrived 1 hour and 10 min later on the island next to Boracay. We walked out of the airport and got ourselves a tricycle (a motorbike with a kind of sidecar but different:-) which took us to the port where all the boats were waiting for people wanting to go to Boracay which took 15 min to ...

... you hearing me Sydney Airport?!!), on board are two groups of travellers who’d both been delayed by very late Pacific Cebu flights and missed their international connections to Athens and Paris. The group of frenchies had no Pesos and hadn’t eaten for 24 hours. J-she goes into charity mode and we give them some snacks. They are very appreciative.

Josh and his wife treat me for a sumptous dinner at Zubu Chon. According to Anthony Bourdain, they have the "Best Pig EVER...." The melt-in-your-mouth Roasted Pig (Lechon) complemented with Shrimp Sour Soup (Si****ng) and a kick of Kamias Shake was the best meal to end my VERY FIRST JOURNEY ALONE.
