We said our goodbyes to Ted and Jean, after having a cuppa with them. Then rattled and rolled yet again over the corragated roads, down to Willie Creek Pearl Farm.

We had a look around the Willie Creek Pearl Farm and through their jewellery gallery but decided not to do the tour. Sadly their damage is severe whilst we have only a large crease in our guard. So stage one completed, now just need to find ...

... made the day more fun.
It was sad to say goodbye to everyone as we all headed off in our separate directions.
We went for a drive out to El Questro (up the bitumen part of the Gibb River road). While there we drove up to a lookout, which we were warned about being rough. That was an understatement - extreme 4WD I would call it. Luckily David has had some experience so did a good job up and back down.
Spent a couple of days at Wyndham where we checked out the ...

    Pardoo to Broome

Unlike Point Sampson we arrived with enough light to set camp before sundown at Pardo road house. The evening then flowed without much drama. The morning was cooler than usual and the packing up was getting better as we explored different techniques for folding the canvas and swapping locations of bulky items. Sand fire roadhouse had a number of relic items that dated before 1983 cyclone and flooding that was captured in a number of ...
