    ... it reminded me of salamis hanging in the window of the delicatessen.

    So then we went up to the southern end of cable beach to the lighthouse and had a look a the dinosaur footprints and Anastasia's pool. She was the lighthouse keepers wife and he carved out a pool for her on the headland escarpment. see photos below

    ... in at the place you bought it and we will fix it for you the average turnaround time is about 4-5 weeks!! Hopeless they were. Our nextdoor neighbour here in Broome is a little tree snake. Speaking of little snakes we headed up the beach again this afternoon a little too far north it seems, lots of old blokes with tackle out but NOT fishing!!!!     ... started to think that
    the wind was easing. On the way back we picked up some wood and loaded
    it into the basket atop the Ranger. We were really getting into this
    four wheel drive camping thing now! Other highly organised camping types
    out here even had their own chainsaws for wood collecting. Glen and
    Patrick just used their muscles and the handy fork of a tree to break up
    the larger pieces into manageable lengths.

    ... Museum Lyn and I left for lunch having taken in a lot but having also missed a lot. You could spend a long, long time studying the history of the town and the district.

    A visit to the Port and a drive along the cliff tops over Reddells Beach completed the afternoon and we then grabbed some fish and chips and went back down onto the sand at Cable Beach to watch another sensational Broome sunset.
