... other family turned up but we worked it out. One of the highlights was Sandra spotting dolphins leaping clear out of the water inside the reef. Even with the wind, it was a stunning spot. We managed a look at the bay loop snorkel area at turquoise bay which had a beautiful and protected swimming area for the boys. There were so many fish to spot and the odd but of coral to explore. It wasn't the large swathes of coral that Dave remembered from Coral Bay 14 years ago but it ...

... Hedland South because we need to change over our gas bottles. As there is no BUNNINGS store in Port Hedland yet we have to settle for a Home Hardware store. Once the bottles have been exchanged we make a our way to the Port Hedland South shopping centre for some lunch. The it's a quick look over the pot and are back on the Highway again and making our way to our overnight stay at Sherlock River. This is pretty location with ...

... bit then we begin to prepare dinner. The temperature certainly dropped very quickly from about mid thirties to mid twenties, which is a blessing given that we don't have any shade. Tonight we're having scotch fillet and salad for dinner. With dinner over and the dishes done we settle inside to catch up on some reading. With nothing else to do and after such a big drive today, my driver heads to bed and I catch up on my blog. Another day is over and another road is ...
