Richard had a Magnum riding on the sighting of a salty croc. He said we wouldn't Sue said we would. Ric********! The tide was too high. When we returned we had a quick lesson on pearls as jewels in the shop and the girls both scored a Willie Creek Pearl. We dropped into the hire car place to start discussing the car failure ...

... was a warm evening with an awe inspiring sunset....a perfect night for a stroll on your camel.
Once she was done we headed back into town, and returned to the brew pub that we had visited earlier where I dined on a meal of char-grilled kangaroo fillet. The meat was tasty...a little gamier than beef, and a little chewier. Otherwise, it was quite enjoyable.

(but we did buy a great photo from ...

... me to walk quite a long way. The range of colourful, interesting rocks on the sand is quite amazing. Will have to try to find out why this happens. Collected a few rocks to show to the grandchildren. They might like to take them to school.

While having our umpteenth cuppa we noticed a fishing boat go past towing a smaller boat and net. Would be nice if they ventured into our camp tonight flogging fish or prawns.

    Wolfe creek and cable beach

... to see El Questro Wilderness park which was only 20km out of the way but was out voted as it was decided we didn't have enough time to reach a place to camp before sunset. As it turned out we got there in plenty of time and had several hours there with nothing to do. I was dying to do a hike or some sort of activity by this point. We ended up just watching the second Wolfe Creek film which was a lot better (and scarier) than the first.
On the itinerary for the third day ...
