I called my lodging, the Annabelle Inn to pick me up at the airport since transfers are included in your rate, as they are at many Aspen/Snowmass properties. Prior to my arrival they said that if they were unable to accommodate a pickup (due to arrival before or after front desk hours etc), they would reimburse the cost of a High Mountain Taxi. Park and then follows the Fraser River and Colorado River into Glenwood Springs.  It was definitely worth the trip.  It takes about 5 1/2 hour by train and is a 2 1/2 hour drive via I-70 to get to Glenwood Springs.  It wasn't about being in Glenwood, it was about the trip there and back.  Absolutely beautiful trip.
