... I take some Dramamine. I start to feel better and at the next fuel stop Margaret and I get ginger-ales to drink. We arrive in the outskirts of Memphis (Arkansas side of the river) at 3:30pm after 6 hours of travel and 265 miles (4352 total miles traveled now).

We finally get some hotdog buns... 5:00pm (CT): Memphis, Tennessee. We have carried a package of bratwurst with us in the fridge ...

... shopping the evening before. We parked and started walking the downtown area shops and Margaret found shoes in a specialty shoe shop. We came back to the campground, just out running a thunderstorm and Steve and I went to the picnic shelter for free hot dogs.

... still in operation and looked about the same as it had in the 1920's. The other stop was at one of the springs and it was surprising how cool it was inside the spring cutout even though it was barely underground.

... area downtown is full of quant little shops and there are a lot of stone steps up to some walking paths that we also tried. We even saw a deer standing under someone's porch, looking at us. And some very nice lady we were talking to, pointed out a pair of albino squirrels.
There's also a very large emphasis on Weddings and Bikers. There are a bunch of wedding chapels, honeymoon suites, jacuzzi tubs, and general romantic ...
