Today we left Kelowna and drove the one-hour journey to the Big White ski resort.

This isn't your everyday ski resort as we know them in NZ. It's a village with housing - and shops and restaurants - on the mountain. There's fairy lights. There's trees on the ski runs. We can see one of the ski runs right outside the condo window. There's perfect layers of snow sitting ...

There are also lots of activities off the slopes to get stuck into like the tube park and ice skating. The pubs on mountain are quite ...

It's when all the people who live on the hill go out and get on it :) Got way to drunk haha the double shots just hit me out of know where. Past few days we have been getting pedicures, hot stone massages off the beautician! Heaven! Big white has had a cold snap ...

... could have easily been the best sunset I have ever witnessed. The colours were vibrant and made the sky look like it was on fire. Deep oranges, reds, pinks and purples, all harmoniously intertwined in the night sky and shimmering across the surface of the Lake. No camera filter or fancy settings were requjred to take the most magical sunset photo. During our walk Ro remarked on the dramatic changes that have taken place since his last visit here in 2008. There is now a permanent ...
