... we exit the ship. It, like the others, has all of the souvenirs you can imagine. On the stage, young are girls doing highland dances for the crowd. As we enter the city we pass by two large and historic churches and the very old Rodd Inn. Despite it being a Monday morning, the city seems very sleepy. A lobster restaurant is located 100 yards to the left of the ship. We make a note of this place for a future trip.
... bereits Mitte September fertig.

... one hundred yards away, with no clue about shape or location of the actual green. The quintessential blind shot. This so unnerved Luigi that he fired two line-drive seven irons about one foot off the tee-deck into the seaside flora. We laughed so hard we had to hold hands to get back down the hill
It was late when we returned to our cottage in Cavendish so we improvised a dinner of spaghetti that turned out not too badly.

... because Cavendish is the very heart of the Anne story, and some clue of what she was about was necessary to comprehend the area. Anne and L.M. Montgomery were everywhere.
In the morning we drove the short distance to the Prince Edward Island National Park in which is housed the “actual” Green Gables house. For a modest fee one can view a short film about LMM and Anne then tour a period barn and the house and buy things. The site also features ...
... the boat really started to rock I couldn’t take it. So I basically spent the whole trip throwing up and trying not to throw up. Not fun. On the plus side there were heaps of Pilot whales and they were coming really close to the boat and that was good to see. I couldn’t manage taking any photos though so I’ll have to get the others to send me theirs. Oh and I wasn’t the only one sick, there were four of us throwing up and we were being handed wristbands and ...
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada ausgal21... off track...and yes, we were in Highlander country! We awoke and after pancake and sausages, (it's very weird actually preparing breakfast...at home it's DIY), we scrurried on towards Wood Islands, where the ferry would take us over to PEI. We lunched at the Ferry Terminal cafe and snooped around the harbour a bit. Learned that red herring are caught by drop nets, with anchors, and for some ...
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada pentakus... to be Levi, one of the owners. He chirpily hauled my bag up the stairs despite my protests and the sunny girl proceeded to show me round the house. Everyone we came across seemed most pleased to see me and introduced themselves with 'Hi,howareyou?' which was welcoming. It was a very cosy atmosphere - everyone was genuinely interested in the other guests and their travel plans. While I was there 4 people decided to travel on to Newfoundland (which IS pronounced NEWfunLAND ...
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada southern-fairyJul 24, 2007 - Morning After loading up on Tim Horton coffee, we loaded up the car and headed towards Charlottetown. We were glad to be leaving Fredericton. There was not much more to do or see. Furthermore, the weather was becoming dull and grey.... We took TransCanada Highway 2. The sun came out as we progressed further east. During this stretch of the trip, we encountered rugged landscape, and not a service station for miles! We managed to get to the ...
