A travel blog entry by ianjordan on May 30, 2014

... headed out of town on Sam's mission to collect geocaches in six states, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama and Mississippi.

We got under way pretty well and worked our way through a bunch of road works in Arkansas, and got into Missouri where we got hit by a pretty nasty thunderstorm on the highway. When we rolled into Carruthersville, we realised we got the easy bit of the weather. The town was half flooded, but our ...

So far, the interstate highways have been what I ...

... we do get to do.

We drove on the Caruthersville, MO to the Lady Liberty RV Park and Casino. The Casino is a barge on the Mississippi. The reason we stopped here is because we are going to do some research about the mother’s family in Cooter, MO and Bradford, TN on the way home.

It is very hot here in southern Missouri, or Misery as our GPS lady calls it.

We went to dinner at the casino ...
