      ... you have ever been through this area or even Saskatchewan, you will appreciate that there is not much to see, but you can see forever...and you can see storms coming at you for miles and miles... Ron found an amazing restaurant called the Bistro and we had a great supper...what a great find! He enjoyed a pepper steak and I had Pickerel, which they call Walleye here...and we got to use real knives and forks... Nice end to a really tiring long ...

      ... re-route to seek the headwaters of the Mighty Mississippi River. We headed west but also north and landed just outside Walker, Minnesota for the night in a lovely campground. Minnesota is the state of 10,000 lakes according to most license plates - though I did see some newer looking ones proclaiming "critical habitat." And lakes there are; Walker is situated on a bay of Leech Lake. We will continue on tomorrow to seek the headwaters of the Mississippi.

      ... the middle of the state that had hookups, because our refrigerator is touchy and it is still quite hot outside.       We left that ****** resort this morning and found a better resort, close to the heated swimming pool, and nexxt to the pond, would highly recommend this place for anyone coming up to this area. close to town and shopping. We will be here until thursday, then heading to Indianapolis for the next race. should be nice because Wes will be there and we will have a three person rotation at the stand. Will post pictures ...
