    ... the owner...the daughter had a very loud husky voice...and she had a service dog for her many ailments which she will gladly regale anyone with...and due to a family crisis, there were a great many visitors till quite late and their voices carried... Now, on the main drag, there was a bar...and many of the patrons drove noisy vehicles like trucks and Harley's... So we were all nestled and snug in our sleeping bags when what to our wondering ...

    Day 64 (June 19) -- 7:14 am in Chetek, Wisconsin and the rain is just pelting down and the thunder sounds right overhead. We awoke to a very light rolling thunder and a few raindrops but the rising tone of the thunder and less time in between rolls warned us the storm was fast approaching ... subtle sheets of lightning and it's quite the storm we have over us right now. The ground already looks wet. Do love the sound of the rain on Harvey, though.

    ... from a farmer's yard, we stopped. We found some fresh steelhead at Costco, (of course, it was enough for several meals.) and bought it for dinner. John cooked it on our little grill and the whole meal was delicious. After dinner, we walked down to Edna Lake at the Nisswa Resort to watch the sunset. It is still warm in the evenings in the Midwest, which makes them quite pleasant.

So crawled under the camper and it looks like I should be able to fix it before we leave, but going to enjoy ourselves in the mean time.     We left that ****** resort this morning and found a better resort, close to the heated swimming pool, and nexxt to the pond, would highly recommend this place for anyone coming up to this area. close to town and shopping. We will be here until thursday, then heading to Indianapolis for the next race. should be nice because Wes will be there and we will have a three person rotation at the stand. Will post pictures ...
