    ... custom started in 1976 when the owner (according to their brochure) would try to pass out hot rolls in the traditional manner by asking politely if you would like a hot roll.     miles to be deposited in the valley. A beautiful new campground and visitor
    center have been constructed, opening about 5 years ago. Only 2 or 3 other
    campers are here... very quiet except for the whip-or-wills... and much less

    ... not to get stuck. We end up camping at a designated spot with a picnic table but Way to close to the noisy road. Saturday September 8th Cook breakfast and pack up in our normal relaxed fashion, Bob jumps in our car and shuttles us to our starting point. Did 20+ mile 'cause river was moving fast...the first 6-7 miles were the prettiest, but there is a nice spring on the right about 8-10 miles short ...
