Took a trip to Sweet water, Tennessee to The Lost Sea Adventure which is a huge cave with a underground lake at the bottom of it. You do a 3/4 mile hike and drop down over 140 feet below ground level. At the bottom you board boats and go out in a 4 acre underground lake, There were rainbow trout in the lake up ...

We finished rafting in the knick of time because once we were off the river it started raining with a bit of thunder here and there. We got into the bus and shuttled back to the campground, by the time we got back it was freezing and getting dark. I arrives home extremely late. It is so good to be home! I have seen a lot of beauty, but I have yet to see anything that is as beautiful as Tennessee! I have bragged on the beauty if Tennessee so much that people who were on the trip with me, from New Jersey want to come to Tennessee. What an educational experience!

I am so thankful for Funds for Teachers! Without FFT, I would have never been able to have this awesome ...

Didn't have far to go from Knoxville to visit overnight with our South FL Corvette friends transplanted to TN. Dave and Linda took us on a trip thru the back roads thru the Cherohala Skyway and stopping at the Bald River Falls which was a beautiful area. We drove thru a lot of small towns Athens and Etowah and then a delicious meal at a local diner. It was good to see their piece of quiet paradise!! Thank you,

... flow so nicely through the river. There were many small cascades and a
lot of healthy moss along the way. After a mile we reached the falls. Amicalola
was over 700 feet tall and very impressive to see. The falls did not crash
straight down 700 feet, they stretched through sections of rock, splashing and
pouring down as multiple cascades. Now
the fun part: 600 steps to the top! After a quick debate, we were all in. A few
breaks to catch our breath, we made it to the ...
