    We spent 2 nights in Duluth. We stopped here to visit our ex neighbors and it is on the way to Park Rapids. We were glad we did. Duluth is a very beautiful city. It is Minnesota's version of San Francisco. The majority of the town is on the side of a hill. I don't know how they handle that in the winter. It's on Lake Superior and is a major hub for freighters that sail the Great Lakes. We stayed in a marina that is a campground in the summer and boat storage in the ...

We stuck to the I-94 and drove under the overpasses and through a tunnel, seeing the skyline and bits and pieces of the two cities which are some 10 miles apart but there is really no obvious break between the two (no wonder they merged as one).
