    Today was a short day. So more picture were taken but, I still cannot upload them. Got to get a picture with both Paul Bunyan and his girlfriend in Hackensack.     The day started out with an 11 mile ride to get to breakfast. No, not because we forgot food but, to accommodate the need to get Marilyn's bike serviced. This meant that we need to bike to Brainerd, MN. While she and Bud went to get that done, I stayed at Holiday gas and charged phones and drank coffee.     ... One of the things we enjoyed was a tour of the Wm A. Irvin. It was an iron ore freighter that was built in 1938 and sailed the Great Lakes. This freighter had staterooms and a dining room to accommodate guests. We are now in Park Rapids with Mike and Anita to work on the details of the trip to Alaska. We just heard there are a lot of wild fires. But thanks to my friend Brenda that sent me a link to track the location of the fires, we should be OK. Till next time. ...
