We arrived in Auckland in the evening, we went to find a hostel to stay in - but the queue was enormous, and minimum stay was 2 nights so we opted for a nice hotel =D
Underneath our hotel was a small corner shop, we were delighted to find crunchies and dr.pepper! And other western goodies we hadn't seen for a few months!

Danach spazieren wir noch beim Skytower vorbei, den wir dann beim naechsten Besuch auch erklimmen werden. Der ist natuerlich gerade bei Nacht eine Augenweide, weil er so schoen beleuchtet ist. Auf der Faehrrueckfahrt bestaunen wir dann die tolle Skyline von Auckland bei Nacht. Leider ist es an Deck aber etwas ungemuetlich und die Sitze sind auch schon abgesprueht, wir bleiben nur kurz draussen und freuen schon auf den naechsten Besuch ...
My last day with my two main girls in NZ
... up like little kids with our purple umbrellas (protecting us from the sun) and then received free Cadburys chocolate; it was awesome! Once we had returned to our hotel after our lovely relaxing last day together we all got changed and ready for our evening meal out at little India. Wednesday I explored Auckland whilst Kate was at uni. Tried to shop for sandals but very quickly gave up and headed up to the 'Domain' which is a beautiful bit of parkland, really relaxing to walk through and sit in and then headed to the museum.
