I hope it was made more clear and that we are not poking fun at anyone's belief. I have clarified that now although I cannot even imagine the explanation of why or how it was put there in the first place.

Lazy morning so we missed the chianciano market. Instead went to Santeano and visited the castle before lunch at L Osteria del Merlo in Cetona. Amazing lunch - highlights were the 1986 vinsanto and sorbet inside the fruit (see photo). Visited Ravazzi cantina where we had 5 bottles opened just for our tasting - trying 10 in all. Bought a very nice red as the first in the collection for Sienna. Very light dinner tonight!! Sleepy after too much wine ...
