We got up about our usual time, but instead of a lazy morning, we had coffee and a quick breakfast and walked down to the fishing walkway right down from our camp. We thought we would try this as we would not have to get into the car and drive anywhere.
There was one other person there, so we went to the other end of the walkway. When we got there. The air was a bit chilly. But as ...

I like spending my birthday doing something of an outdoors nature, such as hiking 6 miles last year and biking 20 miles the year before that.
This year we are doing a camping/fishing trip. Today, we got up and got fishing gear ready and walked down to the river off of the campsite next to ours. It was a bit tight for fishing, but I did catch a fish there.

Back at camp we are resting and relaxing before ...

First we drove to Parker Bottoms camping area. No one fishing here. We also checked out camping there. They do have some sites with river views which would be nice.

After we drive to PB we drove up to the lake overlook to view the lake and river.

We also took part of a trail and had a snack lunch on a bench ...

    ... of changes this trip.
We bought a small dorm size refrigerator for the camper so we will try that out this trip.
We are also trying a new camp site in a different area in the river side of dam site camping.
Also, with all the rain we have had, they are releasing water from the dam so the white River is very high--so no fishing. We expected that. Just a nice outing (not sure what we will do, hike, road trip, ...
