... As we entered our bungalow there was also a flower on the bed and a printed sign saying "happy birthday Emma". We later found out it was Louise's idea as she emailed to say it was Emma's birthday and could they maybe do something for her, even so it was still so nice of them to go through the effort they went through. ... we ate our breakfast while watching the sun rise. The trek down was easier but quite a bit hotter, so we were guided another way through a patch of rain forest to shield us from the sun.

On our way back in the car our guide Widi asked us if we were interested in stopping at a few places in Ubud as a part of the experience. We accepted and he took us to a family operated coffee plantation where they ...

    Bali: Day Three

A travel blog entry by keiran.holloway on Sep 02, 2013

Today I woke up with the intention to go Paragliding. Unfortunately, this was not going to be possible, as the winds were far too strong today. I sent a couple of messages backwards and forwards to the person who was arranging this, and the consensus was looking at forecasts that this would be the case until at least the end of the week.

Great. So that left me scratching me head trying to work out what I would spend the rest of my time doing here ...
