Great start to a great trip. We are sitting in the Premium Plaza lounge at Pearson International watching the Blue Jays kick New York butt. Missing my kids already- however I can do it. Thank you Mom and Dad for making me the strong person I am. xo Chat again soon. ...
It's a little sad to come to the last day of comp, but we still have a job to do. I don't know why but races for our division are always scheduled first up. Perhaps they don't think we sleep in. The road back from Fort Mcmurray was quite uneventful. It took us 30 mins to get back to the spot where we had previously waited for 5.30 hours and some more owing to the consequent traffic congestion.
It was back to Edmonton for an overnight stop with Pravina & Bhavin - another lovely couple who have become good friends - we will miss you ...
