... The waiter brought two plates of tiny cupcakes along with icing bags for Jake and Sophia to ice and decorate cupcakes. That was a great. Dinner was good and afterwards we went to have a family photo made. They put us on the steps which was great, as that way they could get all 26 of us in the picture. ... and a theatre! The only worry was that we were going on a cruise ship in hurricane season! When we set sail we realised that you could hardly feel the ship moving apart from in very rare circumstances, which was good to know. Tomorrow Barbara, Anthony and Chris head home but the five of us are driving down to Miami where we're staying for the night. I've wanted to check out Miami for quite a long time so that should be fun and help ease the disappointment of the cruise ending. ... fairly impressive amount of tropical fish to be seen. We then split into separate groups and some of us did a bit of sightseeing before getting back on the ship. I enjoyed visiting the old British cathedral near the port. I'll have to upload some photos another time. After a late lunch onboard and trying out the water slide/tube on the top deck the rain decided to come so we had to retreat indoors. We're now just in our rooms getting ready for another night in the dining room. ...

Lots of Beach

The two days we spent on Nassau can be mostly summed up as beach. I imagine that this post will have a whole ton of pictures from the beach but not terribly much to say. We swam, we built sandcastles. Our kids met and were fawned over by local kids. I loved seeing Andrew get into it with other physical boys who liked to wrestle. That seemed to be pretty good for him.
