      ... to be a lot worse than it is. Getting that off our chest we continued to enjoy beers and street food until 9.30pm when we all decided it might be a good idea to get back home before curfew kicks in.

      As we walked home the traffic was horrendous in both directions, more horrendous than the usual Sukhumvit traffic in Bangkok.

      ... accommodation. Mike and Isaura had chosen a cheap local set of rooms in the backpackers area. The lane way to their accommodation was narrow and had stray dogs wandering through it. We wished them good luck as we left, secretly all hoping our own accommodation would be better.
