I'm just a little over a week away from setting off on my Grande Irish Adventure. Very mixed emotions, to be sure. Of course I'm thrilled and of course I can't wait to get started. There is also some anxiety over the duration of my trip. A week, after all, is a very long time to be away from my family. I've also never been out of the country by myself, at the mercy of the airline schedules, public transport, English language barriers. And ...
... me to meet him at the bowling center with some collegues but I was still to tired.
So Saturday evening was just relaxing on the bed.
On Sunday John got home a bit earlier from work, so I he took me to BestBuy to buy me an American SIMCARD from H2O.
It was really easy and the women at the shop told us everything we had to know but after the registration and activation at the evening, the card still doesn't work.
We'll have to check that at the shop ...
12:53pm Listening to an interview with Billy Joe Shaver. He says that when you're a gypsy, and you find your black rose, then you've done all you can. A black rose is something that you're addicted to.... Like a woman or a drug. 5 hr energy #2 (not me but JP). I just spent an hour lubing and cleaning JP,s leatherman. I had to wash my hands with 409 to get the WD40 ...
... they took me out for Dinner to Myles and Jun Yakitori where we had dinner together.
It was very very good, spring rolls, pickled chicken and chicken with gorgonzola sauce - so delicious!
Such a nice evening. :-)
Now watching TV with John, updating my status and relaxing on the couch with Casper, the domestic dog who doesn't like to share his sofa. :-)

It took about 24 hours the day/night before, till I arrived at the home of my guest family.
