Apologies for these blogs coming through slowly, we were spoilt for the first few days with free wifi in our rooms but since then it's been only available for free in the lobby, so I haven't had a chance to update y'all properly! We made our way from DC to the South and it was utterly charming to say the least in Charleston, South Carolina! Southern Hospitality is not a myth and exists in bucket loads in Charleston. I'm just a little over a week away from setting off on my Grande Irish Adventure. Very mixed emotions, to be sure. Of course I'm thrilled and of course I can't wait to get started. There is also some anxiety over the duration of my trip. A week, after all, is a very long time to be away from my family. I had to wash my hands with 409 to get the WD40 ...
... they took me out for Dinner to Myles and Jun Yakitori where we had dinner together.
It was very very good, spring rolls, pickled chicken and chicken with gorgonzola sauce - so delicious!
Such a nice evening. :-)
Now watching TV with John, updating my status and relaxing on the couch with Casper, the domestic dog who doesn't like to share his sofa. :-)
Have good night Germany, let's see whats going on tomorrow!
