For the price we found it for online, it wasn't bad! The rooms were clean and very large. It is extremely well located near the Italian building and Republica Station as well as close enough to the Pinacoteca (20 minute walk). The staff speak NO English though, so download a Portuguese dictionary BEFORE arriving.

Our main outing in Sao Paulo was to hit up the Municipal Market in downtown SP. I had read that it was a giant food market with lots of exotic fruits and tasty Brazilian specialties. I love food markets! They are so vibrant and energetic! On Saturday morning we headed out on the metro to this closest stop to this market. What we didn't realize was that there were a lot of other markets and stores around this area and ...
... we explored the neighbourhood of our hotel. This area seems to be a very good neighbourhood: lots of modern high rise buildings with offices and condos, many shops, cafés and bars. Obviously, we had to get our first Caipirinha at a local bar. Yummy! Then we continued walking around for another two hours before dining at a Brazilian steak house. UNICA represents the southern states of Brazil in concerns for the growing of sugar cane. Brazil is a massive country and the southern area grows approx 90% of the country's crop. Some crazy stats break down with approx ...
... It was a blue sky day and as I was finishing up my lap around, I decided that I was in desperate need of a hat. With my travel hair and the lack of sunshine in my life, not to mention, the previous 12 generations of Miller's, the Brazilian sun was not my friend today. Need something shady to do.
Ugh, I have resorted to ...
... could want. Although, I would have barely explored an inch of it. It is so vast. Words cannot explain the enormity of this place. It is dizzying thinking about it. I don´t know which ways up and which ways down. I have yet to stroll out by myself for this reason. I am planning an adventure to the city centre by my self soon. I have to plan days in advance so I dont get too lost.
If I get lost , I may lose a kidney.
Wish me luck!
