    ... mountains of Oregon enjoying the various colors of the trees, odd little towns and mountain views. It took us about 3 hours to reach Oregon Caves Monument and it was worth it. We jumped on a 1.5 hour tour and explored the Oregon caves which were magnificent. We lost one guy to claustrophobia although he said he had to pee and dipped out in the middle.     Monday, August 3, 2015. PCT day 106 Today is a nero day. We only really had about 1 mile to get to the highway that will take us to Ashland. We were up and ready by 7:30 am. To our surprise, it took only about 15 minutes to score a ride for all 4 of us. Wow! We were in Ashland by about 9 am, enjoying breakfast. After breakfast, we went to the post office to pick up some resupply boxes. We even went to the local outfitter store. We were checked into ...

    ... City then up CA 199 and Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park all the way to Grant's Pass, Oregon. Anne said it was an outstanding ride today. She is getting used to the California/Oregon twisties. From Grant's Pass it was a short, but hot ride to Shady Cove Oregon, 100 degrees in the shade.
