The "Caesar Shuffle"

... Spanish steps. Upon first glance they really don't seem significant. This was partly because they were under construction and partly because I didn't know the history behind them. After a quick rest at the apartment we headed off to a delicious dinner. I had lasagna and a wonderful chocolate cake for dessert. While the food was great, the conversation was what made the night so good. Tomorrow we head off to Vatican ...

After we left there, we went back to our hotel for a much needed break after walking all day in and out of the rain. We then decided to go to the Monument of Victor Emmanuel II which is where they have their tomb ...
