... and catch a taxi to Haad Rin, check into our dorm and it’s awful. After deliberating, we decide to treat ourselves to some luxury for one and book into Phangan Bayshore Hotel which is amazing. The huge pool looks out onto Haad Rin Beach and our room is wicked. Best decision we made, need to enjoy ourselves. ... had a pretty vigorous 2 hour walk

When we got back to the Hotel, I told Ross that I thought that he and Nicky should have some time to themselves and I was quite capable of looking after myself for the evening. I Got my camera and wandered Pattaya taking some photos and then dropped the camera back at the Hotel and headed out for dinner.

On the way back from that bar Dave & I stopped at another bar and met up with some of the staff from Joy, one staff member looked a little sad, another person explained that her boyfriend lived overseas and didn't treat her very well, acting like she was his own ...

Trying to fill in a couple of days waiting for Lauras passport to arrive we went to check out Koh Samet. This Island hasnt really been discovered by millions of backpackers yet. Its quiet and the beach is just beautiful! We met Eamon, a guy from Melbourne on the bus there and all 3 of us spent the week there. Eating, Drinking buckets of sangsum, sleeping on the beach and dancing up a storm! ...

... it is basically potatoe curry, so I spent the meal fishing out the main ingrediant and passing it to Tom - was not about to start eating boiled potatoes in curry thank you very much!
We went to a few bars and the first claimed to have the 'best fire show in Thailand'! So we settled there, but the got really busy (too busy for the 3 watiers) and the fire show was hours away and the open sewer running down to the sea next to where we were ...
