... up staying in Vilanculos as well.

Didn't really see much of the place, in truth. The weather (sunny and very very hot in Tofo) had become cloudy and grey here, though still pretty hot. ... Southern Sun Maharani Hotel on the beach front before we head out early morning. The lobby of the hotel is decorated for Christmas with a beautiful tree, oh yeh, it's almost Christmas! Not quite the same when you have been on a beach in the sun for a week! Room service and a glass of wine bring the day to a close, but not before face-timing with my mum... ... Santa Carolina is the northern most island and the only volcanic rock island in the Bazeruto Archipelogio. The ride out there takes about an hour, north along the coast of Bazeruto Island. On the way we keep our eyes fixed on the waters for signs of life. Turtle after turtle pass us by, and one more dark patch in the turquoise blue waters, but wait, the boat starts to do a u-turn, the crew get excited, was that not a turtle? What is it...? A ...

... for dinner tonight! Unfortunately, that was the only action of the day on the fishing side, maybe next time! Our second dive at 2-mile, the southern section was awesome! We saw Devil Rays swimming around us, a massive cray fish, lion fish, pike fish, more turtles and a huge trigger fish, amongst so many others. This was the best dive yet! Totally awesome! On returning to our villa, Mr Carlson had set up ...
