We almost didn't get on the road this morning - turned the key and the motorhome wouldn't start! Luckily, we got going early enough in the morning that it gave Greg time to figure out that it was the battery, he got it jumped, and we found a new one in Monroe, went over and bought it and installed it, and we were on the road by Noon!
Nothing special at this park, just an overnight stop on our way...
Day 10: 1645 miles
After my lovely stay in Vancouver (thanks again, Eric!), I headed south to Cle Elum, a small town (~2,000 people) west of Ellensburg, to visit my Davis friend, Virginia. The remainder of the train ride was just as beautiful as everything before, there were some more cars, some more lonely, endless lands and mountains (MONTANA!!!). There are more car wrecks than people living in Montana, it is just amazing. It seems almost as if you are not a proper American if you do not have at least one rusty car on your lands!

We were both really happy that we had come back to ride the trail, it is lovely and we will probably revisit it whenever we pass through Wenatchee but now it was really time to head home.
... open through Oktoberfest but mentioned that they also book up early in the season so we may not be quite so lucky in the future to find a site on the river.
It was a lovely evening with the sound of the river lulling us to sleep.
