Wish I’d continued a little further yesterday to Nancy Green Pr Pk. It’s small but a gorgeous spot and excellent trails along both sides of the lake. Oh well, next time ...

Drove as far as Grand Forks just to see the place, but went back to Christina Lake to spend the night. Enjoyed a delicious Lemon Pie Ice Cream cone before cleaning up the van for the border crossing tomorrow. Wouldn't want to have any uncooked potatoes or carrots, you know!!!

Well, we are now tootling along in an Cruise Canada RV. It feels like riding in a truck and I am sure Jenny feels as though she is driving a truck.
We got off the train after having to wait over an hour to get our luggage. My bag was the last bag off the train. Poor Jenny was waiting for ages for it. At least she got to chat to all the others that were waiting.
By the time we got out to the taxi queue it was huge, so we had another delay. The ...

We then drifted to Grand Forks, about 2 hrs away, and found Gregg & Becky's place. Gregg and Andrew ...

... road turned to dirt shortly after we started. Despite the recent rain, we found the road to be in very good shape and we were able to make good time over the first 40 miles or so with spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies to our left and in the distance ahead. At about the 45 mile mark, the road transitioned to a narrower two track dirt road that climbed 1,000 feet before we plateaued and found ourselves riding on a straight two track road beneath a set ...

... br> Red put in a new lift on the granite mountain side this season and we were keen to try it, the terrain over there was a little dissapointing to be honest and the lift you guessed it an old lift from somewhere that again was slow.

We would definitely be keen to try Red again when there was snow, the town was really cool and the people were lovely, you could tell it was a tight knit community and everyone is right into their skiing.
