Wish I’d continued a little further yesterday to Nancy Green Pr Pk. It’s small but a gorgeous spot and excellent trails along both sides of the lake. Oh well, next time ...

Drove as far as Grand Forks just to see the place, but went back to Christina Lake to spend the night. Enjoyed a delicious Lemon Pie Ice Cream cone before cleaning up the van for the border crossing tomorrow. Wouldn't want to have any uncooked potatoes or carrots, you know!!!

... sic !! Only issue is its freakin massive and is a gas guzzling machine...a E350 Ford but it has a fridge and a bathroom and 2 big beds and after a tent this is heaven... Matt said the views were spectacular and they properly glided around on thermals, apparantely was a great day for it weather wise. The glide took around 25 minutes which is a great amount of time, helped by ...

Very early start from the VCM on the bus with 40 others to depart on our road trip to two other ski mountains. Whitewater ski resort was our first destination which was 5 hrs away! Very quiet on the bus sleeping until Twisty the main organised pumped the beats and the boys started drinking fireball! Crazy kids! We arrived at White water with a 16 cm dump overnight and it looked more like 40cm! The bus got stuck when we got there so we all dragged our board bags off the bus ...

... were amazing looking over Rossland and another town called Trail. Then the other side looking into the Kootenay mountains.

It was a shame we didnt get fresh snow while we were there as Red had some amazing tree runs, great steeps and the fall line of the mountain was perfect, oh and it was deserted! The downside of Red was the lifts, wow they were slow. Normally you get a couple on the mountain that are slow but every single lift was slow ...
