Northern Lights Wolf Sanctuary

... but we got some good viewings of beautiful wolves including the Alpha male called Wiley. He was on the bigger side of normal wolf and was amazing. There was also three more in the same enclosure and two out the back, slightly more wild than the others that we didn't get to see.

... the Cat up the hill. It was a bumpy ride and it was good to experience what cat skiing would be like. We all pretty much quit early and went back in. Most the boys were already drunk from hitting the bar again! Twisty bought $400 worth of alcohol for a big party bus on the way home. Lots of drinking and singing to songs lol. We made it home safely :) Allana's friend Amelia was at our place who arrived from Vancouver that day. She is spending the next 5 days with us. Lovely ...

... we were only a walk down 10 stairs to get to the party but the bad news was that our room was right above the party so it was a little loud at night, luckily we stayed there mid week!

The dining options are quite scarce in Rossland however we did find the place probably classed as the best in town across the road called Idgies. The food there was amazing and portions were massive.

Rossland is only a few km's from the mountain so car ...

... middle of the rockfall and a new town has been built further along. Must have been a huge chunk of the mountainside that collapsed. Must have been horrendous. We followed a series of valleys that skirted around the various ranges. These earlier valleys were just beautiful with lots of deciduous trees losing their leaves in amongst the conifers. ... voice (lol). It was a 35 seconds free fall at 201km per hour speed. I remember the pressure of the wind was so much that in between I could not breathe properly. All I could hear was the sound of strong wind. It was an experience I have never felt. Then the parachute opened and I saw it was a beautiful orange and red colour and the wind was normal my heartbeat was normal and I could smile :) Although I was catching on my breath ...
