... on his crutches as he felt one of the screws inside his knee had worked it's way loose. He stayed in the car for the ferry trip. We arrived at Sami in Kefallonia and headed straight to the hospital. We were all a bit worried that the doc would have to open his leg back up! We were really thrilled to find Andy smiling and much happier after the doctor had seen him. The screw had worked it's way out so they took it out!! Apparently with minimal fuss through a small incision. ...

This morning after a leisurely breakfast. Marky and I borrowed Marco's car and headed off to Vathi. Marky was wanting to check on our Greek wedding paper work! As it turned out our marriage certificate is perfectly legal in Greece- however in Australia it would need the Greek Apostille stamp!!!! At 8.30am on the morning of the 9th August, we left Big Vathi, on Ithaka Island, but first we had to wait until the yacht next to us had left as there was a good chance that he had crossed over our anchor when he arrived the evening before. The winds were quite strong and everyone was finding it a bit tricky to moor up with such strong crosswinds. All was in fact ok, no crossed anchors.

So we set off with full sails up and we were off to Kastos Island. ...

We had heard good reports of a Thai Restaurant on the Island of Ithaka, so we set off at 9.10am for Big Vathi whiich is a bay on Ithaka. Ithaka is the Island to the East of Cephalonia. We had a brilliant sail as it was quite a windy day.

We arrived and tied up on the quayside, there was a strong crosswind, so it made life a little difficult, we had to act quickly when tying up so that we didn't float off again. We have got this to ...
