... might as well do something eh? In the heat I needed frequent rests and was starting to think they had been right. The 3/4 cars I saw all were heading the wrong way until finally a van going the right way stopped, I jumped in delighted and as I was getting comfortable he stopped and said, this is me! The weather was still fine and so we decided to visit the other falls in Missiones as well: The Moconá falls of the river Uruguay. The road to the falls was as nice as the falls itself - windy and the the top of the hills at a lot of scenic views on the rain forst and rivers.
It was really hot that afternoon and we welcomed the wet boat trip to the falls.

Left from Jaboti tours at 9am in an old 4wd with the owners son and drove, about 30km up the same boring road we took yesterday, to a steep muddy track that passes for a boat-ramp in these parts. Enroute we detoured about 10 minutes up a bumpy track to a "cabanas" hotel where we collected 2 overweight women from BA, most probably lesbians.

... car problems. We had to climb a hill from a near stop because there were large puddles around the base of the hill. Carolina began ascending the hill in first gear while carrying on a conversation with me in broken Spanish about God knows what when, all of a sudden, the car stalled.
