    Tomorrow, we will be headed to Rocky Mountain National Park. We are getting our money's worth out of our year pass!

    ... what he told us: Once they kill the elk, they cut it in quarters on the spot and carry the pieces on the horse to the car. This is the real Wild West. Brent himself killed the elk whose head is in their dining room. Huge. Also, since he is a “roping” expert, he has taught us how to throw the ropes but, as everything, we need a lot of practice.

    Arrived in Laramie, Wyoming. It is a much smaller city than I thought it would be. We got ourselves situated at the KOA campsite. It is still early enough that we rested a little then drove to the downtown area to check it out. It is late Sunday afternoon, the downtown area is almost empty of people.
