... high 60's. This is, by far, our favorite camp site yet. Beautiful and quiet it over looks the ocean and is near a nice residential area where we went for a walk. They rent bikes as well and the boys want to do that in the morning. We had a bonfire, made s'mores and watched the sunset over Cook Inlet at 10:30. What a great day! ... one till the campground starts to fill up. Then we have to pay for both. Think we can do that, its only $10 a night for one space. No hookups. Everyone keeps telling us the fish are coming but the commerical boats that are netting are taking most of the fish. But the Kasilof is a nice river to fish. Will be here till Monday then we move to Centennial Park in Soldotna. This morning Bill and I both caught a steelhead. It's catch and release on those. ...

We were picked up at the motel this morning at 3:30. That's's not a typo. since it was already getting light and because that was 7:30 Eastern time, I could almost justify the hour... Almost. The first charter was in the very early a.m. Out of the 6 hours, Dick fished 2 hours straight and caught 7 Halibut and one Gray Cod (this cod is not edible to many, so it became bait). ... to a couple of beautiful national parks, great little fishing towns, and all kinds of quirky little shops and fun places to visit. Marlin's brother is a commercial fisherman in Ninilchik, which is where we're spending the night tonight. We're in a pretty much deserted but beautiful campground right on the Pacific Ocean. Scott's taking a nap because he caught a cold, but then again, he really doesn't need an excuse to take a nap.
