We were starting to get soaked from head to toe (including my duotang of itinerary and maps..aackkk) so it didn't take long before I asked a shoemaker (I think) and he directed us to the Ponte San Polo (bridge). ... as Venice is walking streets only. I split from the group with a few girls (Melanie, Megan, Katie) and we walked around, buying masks, Venetian glass, gelato, and trying to lose ourselves in the labyrinth of streets but ended up doing a big circle and finding ourselves without meaning to!
