The office staff helpful, and welcoming, and obliging.
Sites were clean and tidy, grassy, with concrete pad.
Birds every where, they feed them at 4 pm. Nice stay.

Stayed in a camp-o-tel for 2 weeks. Was a fun experience. There were Geckos going around it.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped us out with out bags when we went on a 2 day trip.

    Toilets/bathrooms were really clean.

Kitchen area was good with a free bbq and fridges to use. We were allowed to borrow some cutlery, plates and a pan for our stay.

Didn't want to use the dish cloths as some people think it's ok to use the to wipe tables and benches... But had no choice

Everything was cleaned everyday and the place was excellent. Free wifi was good, though had to find a good spot for it sometimes.

Really really affordable. Stayed in the teepees for $35 per night - can't argue with that.

A beautiful large site, (which we could choose ourselves) it is very well located, walking distance to town and a pub across the road! One block of amenities has been upgraded, but the other block is certainly in need of upgrading. However, staff in the office were very helpful and we had a very good stay here. Would recommend it.

Once we were up and organised it was time to leave for Airlie Beach. We headed straight down there, only stopping for 20 minutes for lunch and still just about had time to find a campsite before booking in for our sailing trip.

We travelled from Townsville, via Bowen to Airlie Beach, and heading South tomorrow. On our way South, stopped and purchased some seafood, frozen fresh off the trawler, And have to say it was excellent. Airlie Beach is a very pretty seaside resort, quite relaxing. Went for a drive today and checked out some local sites, as well as the markets, …

Woke up at 6am and packed the last few things then went to the bus stop. Got there about 6:30am and waited for the driver to put our stuff on. Got to Airlie Beach about 9am. Had a long 1km walk to where we were staying. It's actually called a Island Gateway Holiday Park. It's not a hostel, but wanted to stay there as we get to stay in a permanent …

Was the trip to Whitehaven beach today. Got the bus at 11am, picked us up from outside where we were staying.
Had a tour around airline whilst other people were picked up.
Boarded the boat at 11:50am and headed off.
First we stopped at daydream island and swapped boats, then headed on to Hamilton Island to pick up people.
