Stayed in a camp-o-tel for 2 weeks. Was a fun experience. There were Geckos going around it.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped us out with out bags when we went on a 2 day trip.

    Toilets/bathrooms were really clean.

Kitchen area was good with a free bbq and fridges to use. We were allowed to borrow some cutlery, plates and a pan for our stay.

Didn't want to use the dish cloths as some people think it's ok to use the to wipe tables and benches... But had no choice

Everything was cleaned everyday and the place was excellent. Free wifi was good, though had to find a good spot for it sometimes.

Really really affordable. Stayed in the teepees for $35 per night - can't argue with that.

    MY REVIEW

A beautiful large site, (which we could choose ourselves) it is very well located, walking distance to town and a pub across the road! One block of amenities has been upgraded, but the other block is certainly in need of upgrading. However, staff in the office were very helpful and we had a very good stay here. Would recommend it.

    Didn't do much today.

Sorted out our bags ready for the trip to reef world.

Whilst on FaceTime to my mum I saw a snake slithering along and then go up a wall.

Ari too a bunch on photos of him. He gone up into the bank and hid in a hole with his head poking out.
He decided to make a move when I went to take pictures. …

Went into town to go to the Lagoon! Stopped off at the market first. Ari bought us bracelets. Saw some camels walking along the beach.Got to the Lagoon. Forgot my goggles. Was really nice, water was a mixture of chlorine and salt.
Spent ages in the water then dried off whilst reading. Got back in the water after a while and then left.

    Last Day

For the last day we decided to have a quick trip into town and the lagoon spent a little which floating around the lagoon. Swimming wasn't as fun without flippers. A woman turned up with a pet cockatoo on her shoulder. She tried going in the shallow bit of the pool but it got dive bombed by some birds. She had to go in the deep end. I think she …

    Headed back to the TeePee.

Decided to go and get mince so we could have mince and noodles in cheese sauce. …

Didn't do much at all today. Decided to just use the internet in the main area as it was faster.

Managed to download Dr.Who so we had something to watch tonight.

Went to the shop and got chicken drumsticks for tea.
Wanted to do them on the BBQ so turned it on and waited... we were waiting about an hour before I realised that …
