The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. Although it is our country's most southerly point, the weather was cold and windy!! Today we are on our way to St Catharines for a quick visit with Grandma ...

I saw women getting ready to go somewhere, and others sitting on front porches watching kids play. The backdrop...destruction and emptiness. I can't imagine walking out of my home into a forgotten neighborhood, a neighborhood that the city has said they don't have the manpower to maintain or protect.

We finally made it to the Motown Museum, and I was super excited to ...

Friday in the Detroit area.....hmmmm, let's go look at cars! Henry Ford is famous for implementing the modern assembly line in automobile construction. His efficient way of manufacturing made the tin lizzy or Model A and T, available to the masses, changing the way modern man traveled and lived. The rest, as they say, is history....

History is something Henry Ford really was ...
