Close to town, great playground for the kids, heated indoor pool. The location was a bit unusual and the room a bit cramped, but fine for 1 night and nice and tidy.

Had a wander into Dunedin town, then had a trip on the Taieri gorge railway, spectacular train journey from Dunedin to the taieri rugged river gorge. Took 4 hours in total. It was amazing with great views and the weather was gorgeous.
Today we went on an early morning walk along the beach to see the points we had named Lovewell point, Lovewell edge, and Wave view...they were still there! And so were the sea lions. It is such a great spot.
