It was a nice location, tucked away on west street but, I found it hard to mingle and mix with people there. It seemed like people only used it to crash. It was good for that though, very close to the main attractions.

Yangshuo has been an amazing introduction to China.
What at first glace seems like a small town settled amongst rolling river and karsts turns out to be a bustling, glow in the dark, vibrant mini-city! jam picked full of friendly people, countless shops and a ridiculous variety of food.

Slept fairly well if not for as long as I'd have liked, but I wanted to do the activity this morning so forced myself to carry on. I'm in a dorm with Laura, Rachel and Tom, and we all have pretty much the same mentality about sleep and are all getting on well. After a shower Laura and I wandered to a grocery store and tried to find something for …

EN ATTENDANT GODOT Yangshuo population - 300,000 It was time to say goodbye to Guilin. As we headed further south, we were becoming more and more relaxed as our bodies warmed. With this relaxation and temperature increase, the buzz of summer holidays was also slowly growing within is. Travelling in the cold, for such a long period, was new to us both. While it was nice to see new places in the bright, crisp air, we were finding the cold wearing us down. Now our spirits ...

... back to the hostel and I was exhausted again after a long day but we had our Chinese friends to chat with so that was nice! They were English students so they spoke very well! For dinner we ordered some cheese pizza from the hostel.. Which was good but we are not sure if they used ketchup for the sauce! Haha it sure tasted like it anyways... I wouldn't be surprise !!

Well that's pretty much all for today, tomorrow we are off to see the Reed Flute Caves!
