Yangshuo is a small tourist trap down the road (or river) from Guilin. Sitting on the famous Li river it is known for its beautiful scenery. The scenery is deemed so good it is portrayed on the back of every 20 Yuan banknote (see pic) - much better than Adam Smith in my opinion!

... free. They had a good feast for an hour and consequently my body felt silky smooth - everybody wins! I then made my way to Tai Chi which was an interesting and surprisingly difficult! I was in a group with 5 other people all over the age of 60 and they whooped my ass! For something so slow it was bloody difficult, however I can see how people find it relaxing and I enjoyed it enough to consider taking it up at home just like road biking, kite surfing and skydiving again. ...

We were just kind of moved along whether we wanted to move or not. It would be like Gatlinburg, if they had people filling the sidewalks and the streets, so you couldn't move. It was a relief to go into a store and get off the street. Part of the attraction were the many bars that people frequented for nightclub entertainment. When we had our fill of shopping, we headed to the hotel. It was quite a day!
in two more days we are living youngshou and moving to the rice terrace .its really nice here. the chines people are -magilim maod!- they spit every where!!! today we took a mud bath and was in hot spring. at 20:00 we are going to see a show...its vary touristic here mostly chines tourists we miss you all kiss and ...
... worth the ride? For me as a bike rider of course it is but for most it isn’t and that is the reason I wrote the above. Puyi is an ancient village but unlike Yangshuo nothing has ever changed so most tourists would simply arrive breathless wondering where the ancient village is.

It was a nice location, tucked away on west street but, I found it hard to mingle and mix with people there. It seemed like people only used it to crash. It was good for that though, very close to the main attractions.
