    Heute standen drei Touren auf dem Programm. Das Ziel war immer Wildlife zu spotten. Einige Vögel, Leguane, Geckos, Faultiere, Affen und Fledermäuse konnten wir ausfindig machen. Am Nachmittag gab es dann noch ein verstecktes kleines Krokodil und eine Schlange zu sehen. Leider haben wir keine großen Aras und keinen Tukan gesehen Um 5:30 ging es mit …

    Auf dem Weg nach Tortugero ging es entlang der Hauptstraße über einen Pass und durch den längsten Tunnel von Costa Ricka mit 600 m. Dabei kamen wir auch über ein Brücke unter der zwei Flüsse zusammenflossen. Anschließend gab es am Rande des Regenwaldes Frühstück.

    ... to us and after dropping our packs in the room, meet for lunch. On the way we stop to watch a howler monkey, not more than four feet from us, chomping down some leaves. After all the rice and beans, the leaves look pretty good. Did I mention, dinner was rice and beans and chicken?
