... in a pool, before heading out to the bay in the afternoon. Scuba diving, for those who haven`t done it, comes highly recommended: we saw an array of catfish, electric blue and orange fish, a few eels, lionfish, lots of cool stuff, even though the visibility was at times limited.

Using information gleaned from our Japan by rail guidebook we made our way to Mishima station by bullet train in order to get as close as we could for a good view of Mount Fuji. At first i wanted to go back straight to the hotel but i found a nice path along the river and decided to follow it for a while. It was a narrow footpath lined with a lot of trees but it had some brilliant views of the riverside. I could see Koi swimming in the river and i managed to take some nice pictures since the weather had also cleared up ...

... realy warm and tired i decided to stay in and have me some cold beers. I met Evelyn from Germany and she had the same plans as me on taking it easy. Since she bought a couple differrent beers she came up with the idea to have a beertasting. That was pretty cool, tasting and judging different kinds of Japanese beer. They actually have a couple of pretty good ones here. :-) At around half past 11 i felt really tired and went of to bed. Tomorrow it's a full day of soaking in the ...
