The wasabi was in the sushi instead of being separate and the tea was a power you just add to water, delicious. We went back to the temple, it was open this time, I wafted the smoke on me and washed my hands ...
... and I went to explore the city. Shizuoka is very close to Mt Fuji so Dad's friend found us a nice high building to go to the top of, where we could see views of the whole city and Mt Fuji. We also went to a temple, which looked really nice but it was already getting dark by the time we got there so we didn't spend long ...
After taking a Thomas the steam engine train to mount Fiji from the surf town of kamakura, we shorty realized it was cold at Fuji.. real cold. We arrived at our hostel in the small town below mount Fuji planning on doing a little hiking as far up as we could go but were told by the hostel owner our skinny jeans, sneakers and spring coats would not suffice and that we would "literally die" ...
