The Hike Up Mount Fuji
... the warmth gained through hiking. I made the executive decision to continue; our Japanese friend gave us each one glove for extra warmth as well as a heat pad to put in our jacket pockets, and like that we were off again! At some point once we passed Station 7, the steep slopes turned into straight up rocks and hiking turned into rock climbing. I have never done this before either; and while rock climbing was kind of fun, it was also a bit challenging/dangerous ...

I Made It!
... city, to walk around it. It's such a nice city!! We started walking down this street with shops and I saw a Starbucks on each block. Ummm. Actually Starbucks was everywhere. The stores are so interesting. Like the clothing stores with the English writing on them, that say stuff like "Lovely girl my favourite style nice day." Interesting. And restaurants have on display their dishes in plastic form with what it is listed below. Interesting! Lots of manga shops too.
